Cancel Account
Use this function to cancel one or more accounts. Cancelling an account will not log off the associated platform user.
Operation Procedure
- Select the User tab. Select Access User > All Access Users from the navigation tree to enter the All Access Users page.
- Select one or more accounts. Click Cancel Account , and perform the proceeding operation to finish.
Parameters
- Cancel normally: After you select the option as the cancellation mode, the system generates billing and refund information of the account, such as the money to be paid or balance. Note that the fixed fee is not refunded in this mode. After you click OK, the account is cancelled. This option is available only after CAMS is installed.
- Return service fee and cancel: After you select the option as the cancellation mode, the system generates billing and refund information of the account, such as the unpaid money or balance, and the fixed fee to be returned based on service usage. After you click OK, the account is cancelled. This option is effective to charged services with billing terms and available only after CAMS is installed.
- Force cancel: After you select the option as the cancellation mode, the system generates billing and refund information of the account. However, in this mode, you can directly click OK to cancel the account without considering the billing status. This option is available only after CAMS is installed.
Note:
- Cancelling an account does not thoroughly remove the account from the system. After an account is canceld, the original records of the account will remain in the database. The system periodically removes accounts that are logged off from the database thoroughly based on the actual service requirements and how long the data is stored in the database.
- If you bill manually for this account, and then choose to return service fee and cancel the account, the related fixed fee cannot be included in the refund information.
