Add/Modify Guest Manager
Use this function to add/modify one or more guest managers.
Operation Procedure
Follow these steps to add one or more guest managers:
- Click the User tab, and select Guest > Guest Manager from the navigation tree to enter the guest manager list page.
- Click Add and then select the guest manager type.
- Click Select. On the pop-up window, select one or more target access users, and click OK.
- Click OK.
Follow these steps to modify one or more guest managers:
- Click the User tab, and select Guest > Guest Manager from the navigation tree to enter the guest manager list page.
- On the guest manager list, select one or more target guest managers.
- Click Modify and then select the guest manager type.
- Click OK.
Parameters
- Maximum validity period of managed guests: An ordinary guest manager can specify a maximum time period in which a new guest will be valid. When this parameter is configured for a guest manager, the manager cannot modify the validity time or end time of guests. Default validity time of guest accounts when their end time is not configured or cannot be configured. The validity time of these guest accounts is the smaller of Default Validity Time of Guests and Maximum validity period of managed guests parameter.
- Approval Notification Types: When a guest is successfully preregistered, UAM can send an approval reminder by SMS message or email to the guest administrator. This parameter determines the approval reminder sending.
