Overview
System Introduction
CAMS Accounting Manager (CAMS), developed based on the INC platform, provides accounting services for access users. CAMS provides the functions of account adding, charging, billing settlement and billing audit with the flexible charging plans, diversified accounting services, and easy-of-use selfservice.
Functions
CAMS features the following functions.
- Charging plan management: A charging plan is a set of arrangements for charging usage of a service. Charging plans can be simple as a flat rate charging, or complicated as a rate table per billing term, usage-based with bonus, or a discount. With flexible charging plans, CAMS meets most of the ISP's charging requirements and is future-proofing. For easy management of charging plans, CAMS defines five charging plan templates: generic, flat rate, rate table per billing term, service usage-based, and usage-based with bonus. With the charging template, you can easily configure plans such as monthly flat rate, rate table per billing term, usage-based with bonus, and rate table per service usage.
- billing management: The operations of billing, payment, and account type change for account users are allowed.
- Fast pay: The payment is a common operation. To facilitate the administrator's operation, the fast pay function is provided to finish the payment by simply typing the account name and the total sum to be paid. Fast pay functions identically with the payment in user management.
- Recharge card management: The recharge card management function allows for generation, revoking, and query of recharge cards. With the recharge card, users can recharge their own account in the selfservice platform.
- Export task management: CAMS periodically exports and saves the data of LAN access details, payment records, user bills and account information to the server for auditing.
- Bill details/payment records: CAMS provides query of billing details and payment records, allowing administrators to view the billing history such as billing details of each service and payment of each user. In addition, exporting of billing details is supported.
- Global charging parameters: The global charging parameters include billing attributes and currency preference settings. The billing attributes defines service configuration in CAMS, and the currency preference settings allow for ratio between currency units.
