Advanced Query

You can perform an advanced query by specifying detailed conditions, such as the asset number, asset name, owner, group name, operation time range (the server time), device type, device instance path and so on. This function allows you to narrow down the search scope to particular reports.

Operation Procedure

1. Select the User tab, and in the navigation tree of Desktop Asset Manager, select Desktop Control Audit > Peripheral Use to enter the query page.
2. Click Advanced Query. On the page, specify the conditions, such as the asset number, asset name, owner, group name, operation time range (the server time), device type, and device instance path.
3. Click Query to view the query result or click Reset to set the query conditions to the defaults.

Parameters

• Asset Number: Uniquely identifies an asset.
• Asset Name: Device label. In DAM, it defaults to the computer name.
• Owner: Name of the user who is responsible for the asset.
• Group Name: Name of the group to which the asset belongs.
• Operation Time Range (The Server Time): Time range during which the use of unauthorized peripheral use occurred. This argument uses the system time of the server.
• Peripheral Management Policy: Peripheral management policy applied to the asset or asset group.
  
• Device Type: Peripheral type.
  
• Device Instance Path: Device instance path of the asset connecting peripherals.
