The function allows you to add or modify an energy saving policy. Administrators can customize energy saving policies for different assets.
Operation Procedure
- Select the User tab, and in the navigation tree of Desktop Asset Manager, select Desktop Control Policy > Energy Saving to enter the page listing the energy saving policies.
- Click Add to enter the page for adding an energy saving policy. To modify a policy, click the
link of the policy to be modified.
- Specify the policy name and description. Set the shutdown time.
- Click OK.
Precautions
- The policy name must be unique in the system, and it cannot be changed when you modify the policy.
- The effective shutdown time depends on the time of the user assets.
Parameters
- Policy Name: Uniquely identifies a policy.
- Auto Shutdown/Reboot: Select Shutdwon or Reboot from the list.You can leave this field blank if you do not want to configure this parameter.
- Auto Shutdown/Reboot at: Set the auto shutdown or reboot time.This parameter takes effect only when the Auto Shutdown/Reboot parameter is configured.
- Turn Off Screen After: Set whether and when to turn off the screen.You can leave this field blank if you do not want to configure this parameter.
- Sleep (Standby, Lock) After: Set whether and when to put the computer to sleep.You can leave this field blank if you do not want to configure this parameter.
- Hibernate After: Set whether and when to hibernate the computer.You can leave this field blank if you do not want to configure this parameter.
