Export Task Management
INC DAM provides the scheduled export task function to guarantee the maintainability of the system data. This function exports the specific data out of the database. It supports exporting only USB monitor. The exported USB monitor are saved in the path /export/dam/usblog. If INC is installed in distributed mode, the exported data is saved on the above-mentioned path on the primary server.
- An USB monitor export task with the export interval of Monthly is executed at 3:35 am on the first day of each month to export the USB monitor added last month. An USB monitor export task with the export interval of Daily is executed at 3:30 am every day to export the USB monitor added during the last day.
Click the User tab, and select Desktop Asset Manager > Export Tasks from the navigation tree to enter the export task management page.

Operation Procedure
- Click the
, icon of the USB monitor export task to enter the page for configuring the USB monitor export task.
- The parameters on the page are as follows:
- Enable Automatic Export: Enables automatically exporting USB monitor as scheduled. If you do not select this option, the scheduled export task you configured is not executed.
- Export Interval: Specifies the interval to export USB monitor. If you select Monthly, the USB monitor of the last month are exported at 3:35 AM at the first day of every month. If you select Daily, the USB monitor of the last day are exported at 03:30 AM every day.
- File Type: Specifies the type of the file that stores the exported data. The options are TXT and CSV. If you select CSV, the exported data is saved in an excel file.
- Prefix of Export File: Type the prefix for the name of the file to which the exported data is saved. It cannot be null and the string is of 1 to 32 characters. Valid characters are lowercase letters a to z, uppercase letters A to Z, digits 0 to 9, hyphens (-), and underscores (_).
- Separator: Specifies the delimiter for the data fields in the exported txt file. The options include Space, Tab, ",",";","#" and "$". This parameter is not displayed when you select file type CSV.
- Export to FTP Server: Exports and saves the USB monitor to the specified FTP server.
- FTP User Name/FTP Server Password/FTP Server IP: Specifies the user name, password, and IP address for the FTP server where you want to save the USB monitor. These parameters take effect after you select the Export to FTP Server option. It is recommended that you input a username of 1 to 32 characters, which can be [A-Z], [a-z], [0-9], and [-_.], and a password of 1 to 16 characters. The FTP server IP address must be a valid IPv4 address.
- Click OK.
Precautions
- If an old version of FTP software is used, data transmission may fail. As a result, zero-byte files are created.
- This feature is not available if EIA is not deployed or EIA of version 7.3(E0608) or earlier is deployed in the INC system.
