Monitoring Alarm Policy

A monitoring alarm policy defines schemes of USB monitoring, printer monitoring, hardware changes monitoring, software changes monitoring, and system resources monitoring. USB monitoring defines the keywords to check the name of the file to be read or written on a USB device. Printer monitoring defines the keywords to check the name of the file to be printed. Hardware/software changes monitoring defines changes of hardware/software being monitored on an asset. System resources monitoring defines settings to check whether the system resources on the monitored assets exceed the thresholds. Once a policy-defined behavior occurs on the monitored asset, the DAM sends an alarm to the Syslog server.
