MDM Vendor Configuration

Use this function to configure MDM vendor parameters. EAD uses REST API that is authorized by the configuration file to obtain the smart device information and execute the device action.

Operation Procedure

1. Enter Vendor Configuration page
   Click the User tab. From the navigation tree, select User Security Policy >Service Parameters > MDM Vendor Config.
2. Modify the basic information for the vendor configuration as required.
3. Click OK.

Parameters

• MDM Vendor Type: Specify whether to enable the MDM vendor type. If the MDM vendor type is enabled, you must select a MDM vendor.
• Service Address: Specifies the IP address of the MDM server. The server address can be an IP address or domain name.
• Port Number: Specifies the Port number of the MDM server.
• User Name: Specifies the user name to log in to the MDM server.
• Password: Specifies the password to log in to the MDM server.

Precautions

• Make sure the vendor type is enabled, or EAD does not perform the MDM collaboration check and you cannot configure the MDM collaboration policy.
• Before modifying the MDM vendor type, first delete existing MDM collaboration policies.
• Only an administrator can modify the MDM vendor configuration.
• Click Test Connection to check whether the MDM server is available.
