Auto Backup Plan
An administrator can create an automatic backup plan that can be executed periodically. You can also execute a backup plan immediately.
Functions
- Add/modify auto backup plans: Add automatic backup plans or modify existing automatic backup plans.
- Delete auto backup plans: Delete existing automatic backup plans. Select one or multiple backup plans and then click Delete. Click OK.
- Enable/disable auto backup plans: Enable or disable automatic backup plans. An automatic backup plan takes effect only when it is enabled. When an automatic backup plan is enabled, you can click the Enabled link to disable it. When an automatic backup plan is disabled, you can click the Disabled link to enable it.
- View auto backup plans: Click the name of an automatic backup plan to view its details.
- View backup histories: Click the backup history icon of an automatic backup plan to view the details.
- Manual backup: With this function, you can perform a backup immediately after logging in as an administrator. Click the Configuration Center in the navigation tree to enter the Device List page, and then select a device and click the Backup Device Configuration button to backup the configurations of the device immediately.
Precautions
- Only administrators and maintainers can manage the automatic backup plans. A viewer can only view the specific automatic backup plans.
- A device and a custom view can be added to one automatic backup plan only.
- There can be only one network-wide automatic backup plan.
- When you create a network-wide automatic backup plan, if you select the Backup network-wide devices check box, the option of select device and select device will be hidden.
- The running configuration can be saved as the startup configuration through CLI or SNMP.
