Set Task Attributes
This step is the second step of deploying software of a device. At this step, you need to set the attributes to be used by the operations performed after the task is deployed.
Operation Procedure
- Type a task name.
- Select the schedule time.
- Select the schedule sequence.
- Sort the devices.
- Select an error handling.
- Type information in the Task Description text box.
- Click Next.
Parameters
- By default, a task name is composed of the type of the current deployment task and the current time. In the Task Name text box, you can type a maximum of 32 characters.
- For the schedule time, you can select either Immediately or Scheduled.
- For the schedule sequence, you can select either Serial or Parallel. When you select Serial, you can sort the devices that you selected at the first step.
- You can specify an error handling mechanism only when you select Serial as the schedule sequence.
- In the Task Description text box, you can type a maximum of 128 characters.
Notes
- When you select Parallel as the schedule sequence, all devices are deployed at the same time. In this case, you cannot control the error handling on an individual device. In addition, you cannot sort the devices.
- By sorting devices, you can deploy the selected devices in the specified order.
