Compile MIB
This function enables you to compile the MIB files under The System installation directory/client/TrapMIB directory to display the names of the MIB modules containing trap definitions.
Operation Procedure
- MIB compiling includes the following operations:
- You can save the MIB files to be imported in the /client/TrapMIB directory of The System installation path.
- The system prompts on the upper part of the page if errors occur during the compile process, and records operation logs.
- You can click Compile to compile the MIB files after importing them.
- Click the MIB module name to display the page for selecting trap definitions to be imported.
- Click Cancel to display the Trap Definition page.
Precautions
- Save the MIB files to be imported under The System installation directory/client/TrapMIB directory.
- The number of MIB files cannot exceed 50.
- Only one operator can perform the operation at one time.
- After the MIB is analyzed, if trap definitions that have not been added to The System exist in the contents of a MIB module, the corresponding MIB module name becomes a link. You can click the link to enter the page for selecting and importing trap definitions.
- For the OID conversion rules of the compiled trap definitions, see the description about trap OID conversion rules in Parameters on the Add/Modify Trap Definition page.
