Web Alarm Panel
Use the Web alarm panel function to view the number of alarms of each level and receive audio and video messages for new alarms.
- When new alarms are received, the alarm light icons of the related alarm levels begin to flash until the next alarm data collection interval (5 seconds later) is reached.
- When receiving new alarms, the system plays the alarm sound for the severest alarm among the received alarms, except for the informational alarm. Informational alarms do not have an alarm sound.
Procedure
- Log in to System. The Web alarm panel is displayed on the copyright information bar.
- View alarm statistics on the Web alarm panel.
- View the number of alarms of each alarm level. Click an alarm number to access All Alarms.
- In non-desktop view, click or point to the alarm light icon for an alarm level. A tip appears and displays a bar chart for the alarm level. Each bar represents an alarm category. Click a bar to access All Alarms.
- Click the Alarm Category icon
to view bar charts of application, configuration, security, performance, and device alarms. Click a bar to access All Alarms.
- To modify alarm sound settings:
a. Click the Sound icon

b. On the Alarm Sound Settings page that appears, perform the following steps:
- In the Scope area, select System or Custom. The default is System.System is the alarm prompt setting set by the administrator, and Custom is the alarm prompt setting set for the operator.
- In the Sound Occasion Setting area, select When receiving new alarms, When unrecovered alarms exist, or When unrecovered alarms are not acknowledged.
- In the Voice File Setting area, click Select next to an alarm level, and then modify the voice file for the alarm level. Alarm levels include Critical, Major, Minor, and Warning.
c. Click Set.
