Precautions
- You can recover, acknowledge, and delete the alarms if you have the right to modify the device information.
- To facilitate locating unknown alarms, the alarm object identifier (OID) is displayed in the Description column of an unknown alarm and the alarm parameter information comprises the OID and the parameter value.
- If the operator name contains prefix [REST]_ or suffix @IMCRS, alarms are recovered or acknowledged through the RESTful Web service. This rule also applies to hierarchical System.
- If you click Save as on the advanced query page and select Add to Web Desktop on the window for saving a fault query view, the custom view saved to the Web desktop will not be deleted after you delete the custom view on the Faulty Query View window that opens on the All Alarms entry in the left navigation tree.
- The system automatically recovers alarms that are not recovered within 30 days. After the alarms are automatically recovered, new alarms are generated when the corresponding alarm generation conditions are triggered.
- The Root Alarm Display item is displayed only if the value of the Have Presentation Alarms or Not field is Yes.
- For an APM-monitored application that resides on a device not managed by the system, you cannot filter out the alarms generated for it by using the device IP filter.
- Before you customize the columns to be displayed on the All Alarms page, close all windows opened on the page.
- For optimal display effect, use the Customize Columns option to display only the desired columns on the alarm list.
