Alarm Correlation Analysis

Perform this task to analyze the alarms related to the current alarm and manually analyze the alarms by customizing the dimension and time window for the analysis.

Procedure

1. 1. Configure the dimension and time window, and then click Start Analysis to display the related alarm list. The Correlation Degree column displays the correlation degree score (0 to 100) between alarms. In the list, you can recover, acknowledge, negative-acknowledge, delete, and view details about alarms.

Parameters

• Dimension: The dimension includes four levels, 1, 2, 3, and 4. A dimension represents the alarm levels concerned and the CI hops for the analysis. A higher dimension level indicates more alarm levels and analyzed CI hops. Details are as follows:

4	Critical, major, minor, warning, informational	12

• Time Window: Analyze the alarms within the specified time window. By default, the time window is 10 minutes and the system analyzes alarms within 5 minutes before and 5 minutes after the current alarm.

  • 100-80: Red.
  • 80-60: Purple.
  • 40-60: Blue.
