Add/Copy Alarm Generation Settings

Follow these rules to configure Trap to Alarm rules:

Set whether to select the Keywords:
If it is selected, you can perform the following operations:
- Configure the list of keywords that indicates the keywords in trap description.
- Select Keyword (Yes or No) to configure whether to include or exclude the keywords
- Select Logical Combination (AND or OR) to set the AND/OR relationship between the keywords.
You can specify multiple keywords at a time. The relationship between multiple keywords can be AND or OR, but cannot be a combination of AND and OR. The total number of characters of all the keywords cannot exceed 256.
Set whether to enable the Trap Source option. When the option is enabled, configure the following parameters:
- From the If Match list, select Yes or No to include or exclude trap sources.
- Select devices or application groups as trap sources.
Set whether to select the Trap Type option:
If it is selected, you can perform the following operations:
- Configure a list of trap types
- Select If Match (Yes or No) to configure whether to include or exclude these trap types, and configure parameters for the selected traps.
Set whether to select the Time Range:
If it is selected, you can configure a periodic time range or an absolute time range.
A match rule includes at most the following items that are matched in descending order of priority:
- Keywords
- Trap source
- Trap type (including trap parameters)
- Time range
The relationship between these items is AND.

Operation Procedure

Type the match rule name (available only when adding a rule) and rule description.
Select the keywords, trap source, trap type, and time range, and then you can configure the corresponding sub-items.
Click OK.
