Device Severity Setting

The device severity list shows the severity levels of a device corresponding to the trap in different parameter configurations. The list displays the following information:

• Severity
• Device name
• Parameter

An administrator can add or modify the severity of a device by configuring different parameters. An administrator can also delete a configured device severity.

Operation Procedure

1. Click the Alarm tab, and select Trap Management > Trap Definition from the navigation tree.
2. On the list, select the Device Information of a trap.
3. On the page, you can perform the following operations:
   • Click Add to enter the page adding a device severity.
   • Click the Modify icon for a severity to enter the page modifying the severity.
   • Click the view link for a device trap level to navigate to the device trap level rule page. The page displays device trap level rules by composite primary keys of the trap level, parameters, and whether applicable to new devices.
   • Click the Delete icon for a severity. A dialog box appears. Click OK to delete the severity.
