Performance Management Overview
This function helps you collect and view performance data. You can view the current status and history data of a device. Analysis of the performance data provides an overview of the network operation and performance, and helps you locate performance bottlenecks for network planning and rebuilding.
Functions
Performance management provides the following functions:
- Monitoring settings : Provides unified operations for performance monitoring, including querying, adding instances for monitoring, deleting monitored instances, saving performance views, and viewing monitoring reports.
- Performance view : Organizes the key network device performance instances into a performance view, and facilitates viewing the performance statistics and trend. You can use four view types to show the monitored performance statistics. You can use the user-defined or default view to quickly view all the performance view monitoring statistics.
- Global index settings : Allows you to view and modify the global threshold settings for the existing system indexes. You can also set the global threshold settings for the user-defined indexes.
- Data shown in Topo : Allows you to set different indexes according to the device type and organize the index information to be displayed on topologies as needed.
- Performance Options: Sets the display options and monitor options, and configures the instance profiles.
- Real-time Performance Monitoring: Shows the realtime statistics of the specified performance monitoring item in histograms and line charts.
