Device Group

This function helps you assign the rights to the operators. If the you are assigned with the right of a device group, you can manage the devices of this group. With the Automatically Add New Devices function, the system can automatically assign the newly-added devices matching the specified conditions to the device group.

A device group can be divided into subgroups, and each subgroup can be divided.

Precautions

• Only administrators and maintainers have the permissions to add, edit, and delete device groups.
• The relations between the device group and the operator: One operator can manage multiple device groups, and one device group can be managed by multiple operators.
• One device might belong to multiple device groups.
• When you click Cancel on a configuration page, it may not return to the previous page.
