Filtering Rule

This function helps you set syslog filtering rules to receive only the concerned syslogs.

Operation Procedure

1. Click the Alarm tab, and then select Syslog Management > Filtering Rule from the navigation tree.
2. The Filtering Rule area includes the following global filtering policies: receive syslogs from all devices or in the system and whether or not to receive syslogs that do not match the rules. You can click Modify to modify these policies.
3. To configure the filtering rule list:
   • Click Add to enter the Add Rule page.
   • Click the name of a filtering rule to view its details.
   • Click the icon in the status column for a filtering rule to change its status. Click Enabled to disable a rule. Click Disabled to enable a rule.
   • Click or for a filtering rule to enter the Modify/Copy Rule page.
   • Click for a filtering rule and then click OK in the pop-up dialog box to delete the rule.

Precautions

• The logical relationship between multiple rules is OR.
