Add VLAN

You can use this function to create a VLAN on multiple devices at the same time.

Procedure

1. Click the Service tab, and then select Global VLAN in the navigation tree.
2. Click Add.
3. Type a VLAN ID and VLAN name.
4. Select the devices to be assigned to the VLAN.
5. Click OK.

Precautions

• The VLAN ID ranges from 2 to 4094.
• The VLAN ID of a Cisco device ranges from 2 to 1001 and 1006 to 4094.
• A VLAN name is a string of up to 32 characters, allowing only letters, numbers, and spaces.
• On HPE devices, a VLAN name cannot contain spaces or tildes (~), and it cannot be an integer in the range of 1 to 4094.
• Cisco devices do not support VLAN names that contain spaces.
