Modify VLAN

You can use this function to modify the name of a VLAN globally.

Procedure

1. Click the Service tab, and then click VLAN Management >Global VLAN in the navigation tree.
2. Click the Modify VLAN Name link for a VLAN.
3. Type in the new VLAN name.
4. Click OK.

Precautions

• A VLAN name is a string of up to 32 characters at most, allows only letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens (-), underscores (_), and plus sign (+), Support for spaces in the VLAN names varies by device vendor.
• HPE devices do not support VLAN names that contain spaces or tildes (~).
• Cisco devices do not support VLAN names that contain spaces.
