This guide describes the functions that VLAN management provides to help you make VLAN configuration on managed devices. For detailed configuration procedures and description, see the Operation Guide part. VLAN management provides these functions:
1. Global VLAN
You can use the global VLAN management function to create or remove VLANs on one or more devices in the network. For more information, see Global VLAN.
2. VLAN Devices
You can use the device VLAN management functions to create VLANs, assign ports to VLANs on a per device basis. Before performing VLAN configuration, make sure that at least one device is found by VLAN management. For more information, see VLAN Devices.
3. Batch Deploy
You can use this function to handle access, hybrid, and trunk ports and configure their basic VLAN settings in bulk on multiple devices. For more information, see Batch Deploy.
4. VLAN Topology
You can use this function to manage VLANs on devices. It provides an intuitive visual picture of the devices and links that carry a particular VLAN. For more information, see VLAN Topology.
5. VLAN Deployment Task
This function records the detailed operation results of VLAN deployment tasks. You can use this function to check the results of operations and analyze the failure reason. For more information, see VLAN Deployment Task .
6. Save Configuration
Save your latest device configuration to prevent possible data loss caused by device reboot or failure. For more information, see Save Configuration.
