Modify Fat AP Configuration

Perform this task to modify configuration for a fat AP, including the client alive intervals, client idle intervals, broadcast packet responses, and area codes.

Procedure

1. Click the Service tab.
2. From the WLAN Manager navigation tree, select Resource Management > Fat APs to open the Fat AP List page.
3. Click a fat AP name in the list to open the Device Details page.
4. In the Wireless Service Information area, click the Modify icon .
5. On the Fat AP Parameter Configuration page, specify the values for the parameters, and then click OK.

Parameters

• Client Alive Interval: Alive interval when the AP and client send requests to each other.
• Client Idle Interval: Idle interval when the AP and client send requests to each other.
• Area Code: Select a country/region code from the list.
• Work Mode: Work mode of the fat AP.
