MCS Set Configuration
Use MCS set configuration to modify the configuration of the maximum index of mandatory and support MCS set for 802.11an or 802.11gn radios of a fat AP.
Procedure
- Click the Service tab.
- From the WLAN Manager navigation tree, select Resource Management > Fat APs to open the Fat AP List page.
- Click a fat AP name to open the Device Details page.
- In the Wireless Service Information area, click MCS Set Configuration to open the MCS Set Configuration page.
- Specify the parameter values, and then click OK.
Parameters
- Max Index of Mandatory MCS Set: The index is an integer in the range of 0 to 76. The value cannot be greater than the maximum index of the supported MCS set. A client must support all the mandatory MCSs to access the WLAN.
- Max Index of Support MCS Set: The index is an integer in the range of 0 to 76. A client must support some supported MCSs to access the WLAN.
Remarks
The MCS Set Configuration link appears only when the fat AP supports 802.11gn or 802.11an.
