Modify Fit AP Template Information
Perform this task to modify fit AP template information.
Procedure
- Click the Service tab.
- From the navigation tree, select WLAN Manager > Resource Management > Fit APs to open the Fit AP List page.
- Click an AP label to open the Device Details page for the fit AP.
- Click Modify AP Template to open the Modify AP Template page.
- Modify parameters for the AP template.
- Click OK.
Parameters
- AP Name: Identifies an AP template. The AP name must be less than 64 characters, and can contain uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and special characters. The value cannot be empty.
- AP Alias: The AP alias must be less than 64 characters. An AP alias can contain uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and special characters.
- SN: The serial number of the fit AP must be less than 32 characters, and cannot be empty.
- Model: Defines the models of the AP to be added.
- Work Mode: Operating mode of the AP. Options are Normal and Monitor. In monitor mode, you can check a fit AP for unauthorized intrusion. In normal mode, no such check is performed.
- Respond to Broadcast Probes: Indicates whether the AP responds to broadcast packets.
- Connection Priority: Specifies the connection priority of the AP connected to the current AC. The value range is 0 to 7. The default is 7.
- Client Idle-Timeout Intervals: The interval during which the AP and client send requests to each other. The value range is 60 to 86400 seconds, and it cannot be empty.
- Client KeepAlive Intervals: Interval during which the AP and client send requests to each other. The value range is 3 to 1800 seconds.
- Description: The description must be less than 64 characters.
- Enable Mesh Portal Service: Status of a mesh portal service. Options are Enabled and Disabled.
Remarks
- Only Comware-based wireless devices support this function.
- If a fit AP does not support mesh configuration, you cannot configure mesh portal service status. Support for mesh configuration depends on your device model. For more information, see the configuration guides of the devices.
