Configure Mesh Peer MAC Address

Perform this task to add or delete Mesh peer MAC addresses. A peer MAC address is the MAC address of the neighboring AP. When you deploy a mesh network, you can implement WLAN distribution system (WDS) by configuring a peer MAC address for each radio of an AP.

Procedure

  1. Click the Service tab.
  2. From the WLAN Manager navigation tree, select Resource Management > ACs or Resource Management > Fit APs to open the device list page.
  3. Click a wireless device link to open the Device Details page.
  4. Click in the Radio Information area to open the Configure Mesh Peer MAC Address page.
  5. Enter a peer MAC address, and then click Add.
  6. Select one or more peer MAC addresses to be deleted, and then click Delete.
  7. In the confirmation dialog box, click OK.

Remarks

You can configure zero to eight peer MAC addresses.

Comware V7 wireless devices need config Netconf parameters.
