Key Client Settings

This task enables WSM to generate minor alarms when the location view of a client changes.

Procedure

  1. Click the Service tab, and select Locating Management from the navigation tree.
  2. Click Key Client Settings in the Common Parameter Configuration area.

Features

Query Key Clients

Perform this task to query key clients by MAC address.

  1. Enter the MAC addresses to query.
  2. Click Query. The list displays all key client MAC addresses that match the query criteria. Click Reset to clear the query criteria and display all key client MAC addresses.

Remarks

  • WSM supports fuzzy match for MAC addresses.
Add Key Clients

Perform this task to add key client MAC addresses.

Procedure

  1. Click Add and then enter the MAC address to add in the window.
  2. Click OK.
Import Key Clients

Perform this task to import key client MAC addresses.

Procedure

  1. Click Import.
  2. Click Browse and select a .csv import file.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Confirm the MAC addresses to import. For MAC addresses that do not need to be imported, select and delete them. Click OK.
  5. Click Back to complete the import operation.
Delete Key Clients

Perform this task to delete key client MAC addresses.

Procedure

  1. Select the target key client MAC addresses from the list and then click Delete, or click the Delete icon for the target MAC address and click OK in the confirmation dialog box.
  2. Click OK.
