Configure Detecting Fit APs

Perform this task to configure fit APs as detecting fit APs in batches. A detecting fit AP is also called a detector, which is WIDS-capable.

A Comware-based fit AP operating in monitor or hybrid mode is a detecting fit AP. A WIDS-enabled MSM fit AP is a detecting fit AP.

Procedure

1. Click the Service tab.
2. From the WLAN Manager navigation tree, select WIDS > WIDS Config.
3. Click a number in the Detector column.
4. Click Enable Detecting Fit AP in the Device List area.
5. For an MSM fit AP, select Enable or Disable for Configure AP Monitoring Status. For a Comware-based fit AP, select an operating mode.
6. Click OK.
