Query Rogue Clients

Perform this task to query rogue clients.

Procedure

1. Click the Service tab.
2. From the WLAN Manager navigation tree, select WIDS Management > Rogue Clients to open the Rogue Client List page.
3. Enter the MAC address, and then select the discovered time and class.
4. Click Query. The matching rogue clients appear in the Rogue Client List.
5. To restore the list, click Reset.

Remarks

• If you do not specify any query criteria, then the page displays all rogue clients that you have permissions to view.
• Rouge clients are classified as Unclassified, Rogue, Forced Authorized, Controlled Authorized, or External. The External type identifies the clients that are detected by the APs outside of the local network. Only MSM clients support this type.
• Rouge clients are displayed with a pink background.
