Query Fat APs

Perform this task to query fat AP information. You can choose Basic Query or Advanced Query.

WSM can monitor the management status of MSM devices. If no management console is specified as the server to deploy WSM on an MSM fat AP, the icon is displayed to the left of the device label of the fat AP.

Procedure

1. Click the Service tab.
2. From the WLAN Manager navigation tree, select Resource Management > Fat APs to open the Fat AP List page.

• Basic Query
1. Enter the fat AP label or IP address in the query field on the top right corner.
2. Click the Query icon.
3. To reset the query criteria, clear the query field first, and then click the Query icon .
• Advanced Query
1. Click the Expand icon on the right of the query field.
2. Specify the query criteria.
3. Click Query.
4. To reset the query criteria, click Reset.

Remarks

• Fuzzy match is supported for query by name and by IP address.
• If you set the channel number to 0 in the Query Fat AP area, fat APs that automatically get channel numbers will be displayed.
• If you do not specify any query criteria, all fat APs that you have permission to view are queried.
• For basic query, all query criteria are in an OR relationship. For advanced query, all query criteria are in an AND relationship.
