Import Fat AP Extension Attributes
WSM provides the function of customizing fat AP attributes. Perform this task to define extension attributes for fat APs as needed. With the configuration file /client/conf/wlan/extendproperty.xml in WSM's installation path, you can define up to 10 extension attributes for each fat AP, and import extension attribute values in batches.
Procedure
- Click the Service tab.
- From the WLAN Manager navigation tree, select Resource Management > Fat APs to open the Fat AP List page.
- Click Import Extension Attributes.
- Select the file to be uploaded, and then click Next.
- Select the column corresponding to each attribute. You can also select Do not select from the file, and then enter a value of your own choice in the following box.
- Click Next to display the result.
Remarks
- Only .csv files can be imported, and each row must have the same number of columns.
- WSM always considers the first row of the imported file as column headings, and it does not import the first row.
- If you select Do not select from the file and specify a different value, your setting applies to all imported attributes.
- The IP addresses are used as the keywords for importing extension attributes.
