Troubleshooting Parameters Configuration
Use troubleshooting parameters configuration to configure troubleshooting-related parameters before troubleshooting a client.
Procedure
- Enter the Troubleshooting Parameters Configuration page.
- Select a time mode.
- Select Real-Time to troubleshoot a client in real time.
- Select History, and then set a start time and end time to troubleshoot a client in a specific time period.
- Set the IP address of the web site or server. WSM diagnoses the links of the network where the client is located and provides NQA information.
- Click Start TroubleShooting.
Remarks
- The end time cannot be earlier than the start time.
- When you view troubleshooting history information:
- The system displays only log analysis information in the specified time range for offline clients.
- The system displays log analysis information in the specified time range and realtime troubleshooting information for online clients.
- You can set the maximum interval between the start time and end time by modifying the parameter ts_time_gap in the configuration file client/conf/wlanConfig.conf. The default value is 24 hours.
