Authentication Failure Log
The authentication failure log records information about the failed authentication of terminal users. The information includes login name, user IP address, MAC address, user IPv6 address, IP address of the access device, error code and descriptions. It helps you find the causes for the authentication failure.
Too many records will degrade the database performance, thus the system clear authentication failure logs every day. The time how long the logs are saved in the database is decided by the log lifetime setting in the service parameters.
If an access user is moved to another user group after the authentication failure log records are generated for the access user, the user group information in the records is not changed accordingly.
