Synchronize User Group

This function helps you synchronize OUs on the LDAP server to INC as user groups.

Operation Procedure

1. Click the User tab, and select User Access Policy > LDAP Service > LDAP Server from the navigation tree to enter the LDAP server configuration page.
2. Click Synchronize User Group.

Precautions

• This function is available only when an LDAP server with the synchronizing user group by OU function enabled exists in the system.
• Only five levels of user groups are available. User groups not in these five levels cannot be synchronized.
• When you delete an LDAP server, the system also deletes user groups that have no users synchronized from the LDAP server.
• When UAM synchronizes user groups, it cannot create user groups for sub OUs whose names include special characters such as \/".
