Roaming Access Details
The roaming access details module records the basic access information of non-local users. Roaming refers to the mode of non-local users accessing the network through local access devices. During roaming, the local UAM does not authenticate non-local users. Instead, it forwards the authentication requests to the UAMs where the non-local users belong and records the user access information in the roaming access details. After receiving the authentication requests, the remote UAMs authenticate the users, return the authentication results to the local UAM, and record the user access information in the access details.
For more information about roaming, see Roaming Configuration.
