FTP User Synchronization Settings
Perform this task to bulk synchronize users from an FTP server.
Operation Procedure
- Select the User tab. Select Access User > All Access Users from the navigation tree to enter the all access users page.
- Click More and select FTP User Synchronization Settings. Then, configure FTP server settings and user information.

FTP User Synchronization Settings:
- Address: Address of the FTP server.
- Port: Open port of the FTP server.
- Login Name: Username for logging in to the FTP server.
- Password: Password for logging in to the FTP server.
- Re-logins: Number of the login attempts for logging in to the FTP server.
- Command Channel Encoding Mode: Encoding mode used by the command channel for sending FTP commands. GBK is typically used.
- Excel File Directory: Relative directory for saving user files on the FTP server.
- Skip Headers: Select whether to skip headers when you import users.
User Information Settings:
- Username: Column of the usernames for the users to be imported.
- User ID: Column of user IDs to be imported.
- User Group: Column of user groups to be imported. Group-based import is supported and you must specify a grouping separator. Grouping-based import operates in incremental mode. If the system does not have a group, the system will automatically create the group as required.
- User Status: Column of user status of users to be imported. 0 indicates that a user is normal and 1 indicates that a user is logged out. Before you import a new user or edit a user, make sure the status of the user is normal.
- Postal Address: Column of postal addresses to be imported.
- Telephone: Column of phone numbers of the users to be imported.
- Email: Column of email addresses to be imported.
- Additional Information: To import user information that is not included in the current configuration of access users, add such user information as additional information.
- Account Name: Column of user accounts. A user account must be unique. If a user account is not unique, the import will fail.
- Password: Column of passwords to be imported.
- Click <OK>. Wait for the FTP server to scan the FTP directory to import users. The scanning interval is 15 minutes.
