Batch Import Assets

This function helps batch import assets through a .txt file.

Operation Procedure

Select the User tab, and in the navigation tree of Desktop Asset Manager, click All Assets to enter the Asset List page.
Click Batch Import to enter the Batch Import Assets page.
Specify the files to be imported and the column separator, and then click Next.
Select a value from the drop-down list or type a value for each parameter.
To view the first 10 assets imported according to your settings, click Preview.
To import these assets, click OK.
To download the error log that records the unsuccessfully-imported assets, click Download Error Log after importing finishes.

If the service parameter Auto Number is set to Enable, you cannot batch import assets.
If the group that the asset belongs to is assigned to the software deploy task, the task is automatically added to the asset.
When importing computer types from a file, make sure that the contents you select strictly match the following options: PC, laptop, workstation, and server. Other contents are displayed as Others.
