Import Software from Device

This function helps you import the software file(s) of one or more devices to the Software Library.

Operation Procedure

Select the Service tab, click the Configuration Center in the navigation tree to enter the Software Library page.
Click Add, and then click Import Software to enter the Import Software page.
Select the Import From Device radio button.
Click Add Device to enter the Select Device dialog box. Select the device(s) from which you want to import software file(s), and click OK.
Select software type.
Click OK.

The software type can only select the System Software.
The devices with their software version information unavailable are automatically filtered, so they are not displayed in the device list.
The software importing operation supports up to 50 processes can import up to 50 software items at the same time. When the number of software items to be imported exceeds 50, the excess software items are in the waiting status. The excess software items can be imported when there are idle processes. The Stop Import button can stop importing software items in the waiting status. However, it cannot stop importing the software items that are being imported.
