Import Software from File

This function helps you import the software file of the client to the Software Library.

Operation Procedure

Select the Service tab, click the Configuration Center in the navigation tree to enter the Software Library page.
Click Add, and then click Import Software to enter the Import Software page.
Select the Import From File radio button, which is selected by default.
Click Browse... to enter the file selection dialog box. Select the source file, and click OK.
Select software type.
Click OK.

The software file name is unique in the Software Library. If you import a software file with the same name as any file in the library, just modify the name of Target File.
The file name can not include Chinese characters, SBC case characters, blank and the following characters: \/:*?"<>|.

There are 8 software types to choose, "Agent Software","Boot ROM", "web file" , "Image Package Envelope" , "Cisco Nexus Package Group", "ipe Package Group", "Patch File" and "other software".
Agent Software supports file postfix including *.app,*.bin,*.zip,*.img,*.swi,*.biz,*.cim,*.iso,etc, Boot ROM supports file postfix including *.btm,ect, web file supports file postfix including *.web, Image Package Envelope and ipe Package Group supports file postfix including *.ipe, Cisco Nexus Package Group supports file postfix including *.bin.
Other software supports any file postfix, for example, *.xls,etc.
