Set Task Attributes

The third step for file upload is to set relevant attribute of the file upload task.

Operation Procedure

1. Type the task name.
2. Specify the schedule time and schedule sequence.
3. Sort the selected devices.
4. Select the error handling mechanism.
5. Type the task description.
6. Click Next.

Parameters

• The task name defaults to the current task type plus the current time. The task name can include no more than 32 characters.
• The schedule time provides two options, namely , Immediately and Scheduled.
• The schedule sequence provides two options, namely, Parallel and Serial. After selecting Serial for Schedule Sequence, you can sort the selected devices in the first step of this wizard.
• The error handling field is available only when Serial is selected for Schedule Sequence.
• The task description can include no more than 128 characters.

Related Description

• If Parallel is selected for Schedule Sequence, the deployment are performed on all devices at the same time. Therefore, you cannot specify the error handling mechanism for a single device, nor sort the selected devices.
• After you sort the selected devices, the deployment will be performed on the devices based on the specified order.
