MIB Upload

Perform this task to import trap definitions through a MIB file.

Operation Procedure

Click the Alarm tab. From the navigation tree, select Trap Management > Trap Definition.
Click MIB Upload.
Select the MIB file you want to import and click Upload. The system automatically compiles the file and lists MIB module names.
If the compiled MIB module list is faulty, click Recompile to compile the MIB file again.
Click a MIB module name or select one or more MIB modules, and then click View Trap Definition.
In the trap definition list, select one or more trap definitions that you want to import and click Import.
Confirm the import result and click Delete MIB Files to delete all MIB files that have been uploaded to directory /client/TrapMIB of The System installation path.

Only operators that have administrative privileges have the rights to import trap definitions from a MIB file.
The MIB file must be in the ZIP format.
Only one operator is allowed to compile the MIB file at a time.
The compiled MIB module list only displays MIB modules that contain unimported trap definitions. However, among the trap definitions of a displayed MIB module, trap definitions that already exist in the system cannot be selected for import.
