Windows
Perform this task to draw different types of windows. You can draw windows only on walls and bulkheads.
Operation Procedure
- Click the Draw tab.
- From the left navigation tree, click Windows. Submenus Opening, Fixed Window, Single Casement, Double Casement, and Sliding Window appear.
Functions
- Draw a window: Select one type of windows, move the pointer to the wall to which you want to add a window, and then click the mouse. Move the pointer over the window. The window displays as a green line with two white ends. Drag the green line to change the position of the window. To change the window width, drag one of the white ends.
- Copy a window: Double click the window you want to copy. The pointer displays as a cross, and a new window is created. Click on a wall or a bulkhead to move the new window.
- Delete a window: Click the window you want to delete, and click Remove in the Settings dialogue box.
- Set parameters for an opening: Click the opening, set parameters in the Settings dialogue box, and click OK.
- Set parameters for a fixed window: Click the window, set parameters in the Settings dialogue box, and click OK.
- Set parameters for a single-casement window: Click the window, set parameters in the Settings dialogue box, and click OK.
- Set parameters for a double-casement window: Click the window, set parameters in the Settings dialogue box, and click OK.
- Set parameters for a sliding window: Click the window, set parameters in the Settings dialogue box, and click OK.
