Stairs
Perform this task to draw different types of stairs.
Operation Procedure
- Click the Draw tab.
- From the left navigation tree, click Stairway. Submenus Winder Stairs, Landing Stairs, Hanging, and Spiral appear.
Functions
- Draw stairs: To draw winding stairs, landing stairs, or hanging stairs, select one type of these stairs, and left-click the mouse at the start point. Move the pointer to draw stairs. Left-click the mouse when you finish one flight of stairs, and then move the pointer to start another flight. When you finish the whole drawing, right-click the mouse twice. To move a flight of stairs, move the pointer over the stairs. A green line appears. Drag the green line to move these stairs. To draw spiral stairs, select Spiral, and then click the mouse at the position you want to draw the stairs. A fan that represents the spiral stairs appears. To change the spirality of the stairs, move the pointer over the joint between the curve and the line of the fan, and then drag the green line that appears.
- Move stairs: To move winding stairs, landing stairs, or hanging stairs, move the pointer to one end of the stairs. A green circle with four arrows appears. Drag the circle to move the stairs. To move spiral stairs, move the pointer to the fan. A green circle with four arrows appears. Drag the circle to move the stairs.
- Delete stairs: Click the stairs you want to delete, and then click Remove in the Settings dialogue box.
- Set parameters for stairs: Click the stairs, set parameters in the Settings dialogue box, and click OK. Winding stairs, landing stairs, and hanging stairs have the same parameters, which are different from spiral stairs.
