Configure Device Type
Perform this task to configure the device type for devices.
Procedure
- Click the Resource tab. From the navigation tree, select Resource Management > Batch Operation.
- Click the Configure Device Type link to enter the page for configuring the device type.
- Select the devices for which you want to configure the device type.
- Select a device type from the Device Category list.
- Click OK.
Parameters
- Device Category: The options are the same as the device types defined on the System > Resource Management > Device Definition page.
Remarks
- When you click Cancel on a certain configuration page, you might not be navigated to the previous page.
