Modify Custom View
Operation Procedure
- Click the Resource tab, and then in the navigation tree click View Management > Custom View to enter the Custom View List page.
- Click
corresponding to a custom view record in the custom view list to enter the page for modifying the custom view.
- Change the name of the custom view, the Automatically Add New Devices option, or managed devices.
- Click OK.
Parameters
- Upper-level view: Select the upper-level view for the current custom view.
- Automatically add new devices: This parameter determines whether or not new devices, which are manually added or automatically discovered by the system, are automatically added to the custom view. The options include:
- None: New devices are not automatically added to the custom view.
- All: All new devices are automatically added to the custom view.
- From network segment: New devices are automatically added to the custom view if they belong to the specified network segments.
- Device: Select devices to be added to the custom view. You can select all or some devices that you have rights to manage.
Precautions
- You can configure an upper-level view for a custom view. This configuration only changes the hierarchical positions of the two views, but does not associate the management rights, operation, and managed devices of the two views.
- You cannot configure a lower-level view of the custom view as its upper-level view.
- A custom view's name must be unique.
