Query AP Access Ports
Perform this task to query the access ports of APs. You can choose Basic Query or Advanced Query.
Procedure
- Click the Service tab.
- From the WLAN Manager navigation tree, select Resource Management > AP Access Ports to open the AP access port List page.
- Basic Query
- Enter the AP label in the query field on the top right corner.
- Click the Query icon

- To reset the query criteria, clear the query field first and click the Query icon
.
- Advanced Query
- Click the Expand icon
on the right of the query field.
- Specify the query criteria.
- Click Query.
- To reset the query criteria, click Reset.
Remarks
- An AP might connect to multiple ports of different switches. If WSM can determine the switch port from which an AP accesses the network, it displays the Direct Link icon in the Status field for the AP. If WSM cannot determine the port, it displays the Indirect Link icon in the Status field.
- To view the access port of an AP, you must add the switch directly connected to the AP to INC.
- For basic query, all query criteria are in an OR relationship. For advanced query, all query criteria are in an AND relationship.
- The system cannot obtain information about fat APs and fit APs that operate in client mode.
