Query Rogue APs

Perform this task to query rogue APs by setting query conditions.

Procedure

1. Click the Service tab.
2. From the WLAN Manager navigation tree, select WIDS Management > Rogue APs to open the Rogue AP List page.
3. Enter the MAC address and SSID name, and then select the discovered time and class.
4. Click Query to display the rogue APs that match the query criteria in the Rogue AP list.
5. To restore the list, click Reset.

Remarks

• Fuzzy match is supported for query by SSID.
• If you do not specify any query criteria, the page displays all rogue APs that you have permissions to view.
• Fit APs are classified as Unclassified, Rogue, Forced Authorized, Controlled Authorized,and External. The External type indicates the unmanaged APs that are detected by the ACs outside the local network. Only MSM fit APs support this type.
• Rouge APs are displayed with a pink background.
