Permit Rogue AP

Perform this task to add the MAC address of a rogue AP to the permitted MAC list, so that the AP will not be recognized as a rogue AP.

Procedure

To add rogue APs one by one
1. Click the Service tab.
2. From the WLAN Manager navigation tree, select WIDS Management > Rogue APs to open the Rogue AP List page.
3. Click the Operation icon for the target rogue AP, and then select Add to Permit List.
4. Click OK.
To add rogue APs in batches
1. Click the Service tab.
2. From the WLAN Manager navigation tree, select WIDS Management > Rogue APs to open the Rogue AP List page.
3. Select the target rogue APs, and then click Add to Permit List.
4. In the confirmation dialog box that appears, click OK.

When you add rogue APs one by one, the Add to Permit List option is not available if a rogue device is already in the attack list.
This function is supported only by Comware-based devices.
