View Spectrum Analysis Monitoring Information

Perform this task to view fit AP spectrum analysis monitoring information by channel usage, channel usage trend, channel quality, channel quality trend, interference signal strength, FFT, FFT duty cycle, swept spectrogram, and Signal Strength by SSID. You can view all spectrum analysis graphs by radio ID. The FFT, FFT duty cycle, and swept spectrogram graphs also provide the recording and saving monitoring data functions.

Procedure

1. Click the Service tab.
2. From the navigation tree, select WLAN Manager > Resource Management > Fit APs to open the Fit AP List page.
3. Click an AP label to open the Device Details page for the fit AP.
4. Click Spectrum Analysis Monitor.
5. Select an option from the Statistics list, select a radio ID, and then click Monitor.
6. You can view monitored channels by clicking Select Channel in the channel utilization trend graph and channel quality trend graph.
7. On the FFT, FFT Duty Cycle, or Swept Spectrogram graph, you can click Start Recording, Stop Recording, or Save to record or save monitoring data.
8. When the monitoring process is complete, click Stop Monitor.

Remarks

• The Signal Strength by SSID graph supports only the 2.4 GHz band.
• To apply the spectrum analysis function, set the operation mode of fit APs to Monitor or Hybrid.
