Add/Modify Asset Group

This function helps you add or modify an asset group.

Operation Procedure

1. Click the User tab on the top navigation bar and select Desktop Asset Manager > Asset Group in the navigation tree.
2. Click Add Group to enter the Add Asset Group page, or click to enter the page for editing the asset group.
3. Enter the group name and description, and select a desktop asset control scheme.
4. In the Authorized Operator area, select one or multiple operators who can manage the asset group. Operators with administrative rights are forcibly selected, and the selection cannot be cleared.
5. Click OK.

Precautions

• The ungrouped is system-defined. It cannot be deleted and you can only modify the control scheme for it.

Parameters

• Group Name: Name of the group. The top-level groups cannot use the same name. The subgroups of the same group cannot use the same name.
• Control Scheme: Specifies a control scheme for all the assets in the specified asset group (excluding sub-groups attached to it).
